WWII: The Axis Wars
Obersturmbannführer Eckhart is a dutiful son, proud German, and implacable warrior. In the first great war, as a newly conscripted serviceman barely past his seventeenth birthday, Eckhart displayed an incredible capacity for leadership and tactics. After his commander in the German 8th caught a bullet to the head, Eckhart rose up and fortified his squadron, holding on the longest against the Russians at the Second Battle of the Masurian Lakes. Returning to Germany, despite it’s defeated hopes, he was greatly lauded for his tenacity. As the country began to build itself back up under the Führer’s leadership, the war hero Eckhart was called by the Reich to lend his aid. His business now leads him and his contingent of scouts and soldiers far and wide across the lands under German occupation, searching for those with the power and will to help secure Hitler’s grand vision.
